CyberCare Free Trial Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) carefully as they apply to your use of Coronet’s cyber security (“Coro”) platform and associated products and services (“Trial Software”) that Codestone Solutions Limited (also referred to as “us”, “Codestone”) are offering “you”, the “Customer” and form a legally binding contract between you and us.
The trial offer shall not include any provision of services from Codestone, including but not limited to Level 2 or Level 3 Security Operation Centre (SOC) support or any installation services during the Trial Period (as defined below).
Duration and Fees
The Trial Software shall be made available to the Customer on a trial basis for a period of fourteen (14) days (unless otherwise agreed in writing by Codestone), commencing on the date of installation or activation (“Trial Period”). No fees shall be payable by the Customer during the Trial Period.
Following expiry of the Trial Period, the Customer shall not be entitled to continue using the Trial Software unless a separate paid agreement is entered into. Notwithstanding the expiry of the Trial Period, all Customer obligations set out herein shall continue in force for a period of six (6) months from the end of the Trial Period.
Any continued use beyond the Trial Period without a signed agreement shall be considered unauthorised use and may result in immediate suspension or enforcement action.
Customer Responsibilities
The Customer hereby represents, warrants and undertakes to Codestone that they shall:
- be responsible for the setup, configuration, monitoring and response activities during the Trial Period;
- at all times comply with the terms set out in these T&Cs and any of Coro’s terms and conditions as available at https://www.coro.net/terms (as amended from time to time) including, but not limited to Terms of Use for Coro application and console (“Terms of Use”);
- comply with all applicable laws and regulations with respect to your activities under these T&Cs;
- not attempt to copy, modify, duplicate, recreate derivative works from frame, mirror, republish, download, display, transmit, or distribute all or any portions of the software relating to the Trial Software;
- not access all or any of the Trial Software in order to build a product or service that competes with the Trial Software;
- not access, store distribute, transmit any viruses, or any material during the course of your use of the Trial Software that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, infringing, offensive or otherwise illegal or causes damage or injury to any person or property, and Codestone reserves the right (without liability or prejudice to its other rights) to disable your access to the Trial Software where there is a breach of this provision;
- not use or procure access to the Trial Software with the intended purpose to sell or resell or use any of the content. For any such commercial use please contact sales@codestone.com.
In the event of conflict between these T&Cs and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use by Coro will prevail and govern relating to its subject matter.
Codestone Responsibilities
The Trial Software is supplied to the Customer “as is”. Codestone makes no warranties regarding the Trial Software, express or implied and expressly disclaims all such warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Codestone does not warrant that the Customer’s use of the Trial Software will be uninterrupted or error-free or that the Trial Software and/or information obtained by the Customer during the Trial Period will meet the Customer’s requirements and is not responsible for any delays, delivery failures or other loss or damage resulting from the transfer of data over communications networks and facilities, including the internet.
We accept no responsibility for any security incidents, misconfiguration, or service outcomes arising during the Trial Period.
Data and Privacy
During the Trial Period, Codestone may collect and process your personal data solely for the purposes of enabling the trial and providing technical assistance. All personal data collected for the purposes of the free trial offer shall be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018.
This clause shall survive the expiry or termination of the Trial Period and remain in effect for the duration of any Codestone data retention policies in compliance with applicable law. For more information on how we handle personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Limitations of Liability
You agree that you are free to choose whether to use the Trial Software and do so at your sole option, discretion and risk.
To the extent permitted by law, Codestone shall not be liable to the Customer for any damage, cost, or expense of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Customer’s use or inability to use the Trial Software including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or any other commercial damages or any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential loss or damages however caused, regardless of the theory of liability whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) breach of statutory duty or otherwise. In no event shall Codestone’s total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount of £50 or the equivalent thereof in any currency. The foregoing limitation will apply even if the above stated remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Nothing in these T&Cs limits or excludes either party’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any act, omission or matter, liability for which cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law.
You confirm that Codestone shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to, suspension of or discontinuance of the Trial Software.
General Provisions
All notices shall be in writing (including email) and be sent to legal@codestone.com.
Codestone reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time by posting a revised version on our website or otherwise by notifying you. All modified terms will become effective upon posting or as otherwise stated in the notice. By continuing to use the Trial Software, you agree to be bound by the modified terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to check our website for modifications.
No failure or delay by a party to exercise any right or remedy provided under these T&Cs or by law shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy, nor shall it prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy. No single or partial exercise of that or any other right or remedy. No single or partial exercise of such right or remedy shall prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.
If any provision or part-provision of these T&Cs is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of the T&Cs. The parties shall negotiate in good faith to agree a replacement provision that, to the greatest extent possible, reflects the intended commercial result of the original provision.

These T&Cs constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between them, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.
These T&Cs does not confer any rights on any person or party (other than the parties to this Agreement) and, where applicable, their successors and permitted assigns pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
